On January 7, 2019, Attorney General Aaron D. Ford was sworn in as Nevada’s 34th Attorney General, and the first African American to take statewide constitutional office. In the presence of family, friends, and members of the public, he swore an oath to serve and protect Nevadans. Attorney General Ford believes that the job of this office is justice, and will work alongside his dedicated employees to ensure all Nevadans are safe from harm and able to succeed.
